Average temperatures July!

Please note that July is mid-winter in South Africa – and night-time temperatures can drop to as low as – 2 Degrees Celsius. Daytime temperatures are moderate to high:

Average low: – 2 to 4 Degrees Celsius

Average high: 19 to 24 Degrees Celsius

The camping sites in the Pilanesberg National Park are managed by Golden Leopard Resorts. http://www.goldenleopardresorts.co.za
These are Bakgtala  and the Manyane. Both are situated at gates to the Pilanesberg National Park.

Please visit Tripadvisor as reviews are very mixed for both Manyane and Bakgatla.

Distance to Sun City
Should you wish to camp while attending the Fusion2021 conference we recommend the Manyane
**as it is closer to Sun City , than Bakgatla  **.

Manyane  to Sun City : 22.7 Km along President Road which runs along the Pilanesberg National Park perimeter. It will take approximately 23 minutes to travel to Sun City.

Manyane is within proximity to the Manyane entrance gate to the malaria-free Pilanesberg. You will find an abundance of wildlife and birds in this region. Surrounded by the Bushveld, Manyane  offers a host of facilities. Choose from caravanning and camping to value-for-money accommodation. There are two large swimming pools and a children’s playground. A popular lodge to stay for one or two weeks at a time, Manyane offers a wide range of accommodation to match your ideal Pilanesberg National Park holiday.

Bakgatla to Sun City: 37.5 Km along President Road which runs along the Pilanesberg National Park perimeter. It will take approximately 43 minutes to travel to Sun City.

To purchase groceries while camping we recommend the Sun Village Spar at the Sun Village Shopping Centre. The Sun Village Shopping centre is situated just outside the main entrance to Sun City, on the R556.
